Clarity Check ("the App") helps you look up a phone number, trace where a photo shows up online, and check whether an email address or password has appeared in a known data breach. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how you can control it.

  1. Information We Collect
  1. How We Use Your Information To run the check you request and return a result; to save your search history so you can view past results; and to respond to support requests. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
  2. Third Parties We Work With

Each provider only receives what is strictly necessary to perform its function.

  1. Photo Uploads If you use reverse image search, your photo is uploaded to secure cloud storage so it can be searched. Links to uploaded photos are not further restricted beyond standard access controls, so avoid uploading images you would not want potentially accessible to someone who obtained the link.
  2. Data Retention & Your Choices Your search history is kept until you remove it. You can delete an individual result from History, or clear your entire history at once from Settings → Your Data → Clear My History. Once cleared, this data cannot be recovered.
  3. Privacy of Searches Every search you run is private. The person, number, or email you look up is never notified, and we never share your search activity with anyone.
  4. Important Limitations Clarity Check is not a consumer reporting agency, and results from the App cannot be used for decisions covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) — including employment, tenant screening, credit, or insurance decisions. Treat results as a starting point for your own judgment, not a definitive legal record. Do not use the App to stalk, harass, or track anyone without their knowledge or consent.
  5. Children's Privacy Clarity Check is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
